The uniquely sized heptagonal handle design fits comfortably in your hand and allows you to make the desired cuts even when performing delicate work. The blade has a beautiful, hammered pattern on the surface, representing a Japanese-style.
Blade materials: “Three-layer blade’’ has high hardness and excellent sharpness
VG-10 that was put into the core part is high carbon stainless steel containing Cobalt. As the hardness is 60-61, you can say it is perfect material to make sharp and long-life knife. Three layers of stainless steel are piled up on both sides, giving it a hammered mirror finish.
Heat treatment: Sub-zero process
Sub-zero process is the special treatment to make knife so hard and tough enough to be unbending and sharp by cooling it to less than minus seventy degrees.
Handle material : Heptagonal laminated reinforced wood that is easy to grip
The handle made of seven-sided laminated reinforced wood which is designed to be easy to grip and have a Japanese atmosphere. The wood is stronger than natural wood and does not shrink.
